Suggestion: I believe that national treasury (we) need to come up with platform or channel that allows Entrepreneurs, Startups and Innovators to present some of their new innovations/ideas that could help certain government ministries solve some of the key issues. The tender process works, but it works on the principle that the procurement officer drafting the tender is aware of all the innovations that could help solve a particular problem. I think this is unrealistic and it doesn't provide an easy process that could allow fresh thinking into how we solve issues.   I would really be willing to talk to someone from the central supplier database about my suggestion.
