BEE

this BEE never worked for me. they pick people they know when u must quote them them  they send you documents late and then when u call them you dnt find a responsible person to answer.

  • It is not the B-BBEE mechanism that is so flawed in as much as it is a reality that there are many startup companies out there competing for the smaller transactions. Procurement people also have a need to make sure that they deliver on the needs of suppliers while at the same time effecting transformation. these are perceived to be conflicting objectives.
    The reality is that you should aim to proactively define where your customers are and let them know about your offerings regularly. Make them aware of your real abilities to deliver quality products/services. Then when the tenders are published they will have more confidence in your abilities ahead of a competitor who they just view as pages of paper.
    It is a tricky situation but those entrepreneurs that persist in creating awareness and marketing themselves effectively should succeed in the long run.

    Well francois,we have done alot of work over the years and we delivered quality work every time ,on time.and suddenly we didnt get work anymore as our market related prices was too exspensive,hence we have been downgraded by cidb to a grade 1 again.and competition on this level is great.
