How can I make sure I am on the National Treasury supplier data base and I do dot miss out on tender notices?

We are an SMME general Insurance Brokerage doing short-term insurance (commercial lines), Employee Benefits, Employee Support Programme and Health. We have not done business with the government but we have done a lot of preparation to supply to government.

  • The entire process for registering on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) is online. From 1 April this is compulsory for any supplier doing business with government (except municipalities who will start using it on 1 July2016.)

In order to register on the CSD you can visit www.csd.gov.za

You still need to compete on quality of product/service and price. Being on a list/database does not mean you will be awarded a tender.  You need to convince the adjudication committee that you are the best business in that case.  See this article for an informed view. Click here.
