The inaugural All About Public Procurement Awards (AAPP Awards) dinner will take place on the 15th of August 2013 at the Emperors Palace, Johannesburg. This is an initiative of the State Owned Enterprise Procurement Forum (SOEPF) in partnership with CIPS Africa coinciding with the longstanding CIPS Annual Dinner and Awards.
To date there has been no events in public sector to specifically recognize and promote the procurement profession.
The theme for the event is: “Celebrating Procurement Excellence”
Entries into the awards remain free of charge. The awards are open to all SOEPF members and any other SCM procurement teams across all tiers of government. We need the participation of each Procurement official to ensure that the profile of Procurement and SCM is elevated in the public sector. Look around you for pieces of innovation or excellent execution and enter those teams/projects/individuals. The submissions and adjudication of categories handled by a panel of independent judges and the technology partner MarketSqr Supply Network.
