All new and existing suppliers to the South African government now have to register on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) before they can do business with government. Since 1 April 2016 the CSD serves as the single source of verified supplier information for all National and Provincial departments. The State Owned Companies are included too.
From 1 July 2016 all municipalities will also use this database. All municipal suppliers now also have to get registered and verified on the database before 1 July.
Registration is done online at no cost – so you can do this yourself without paying anything. Some suppliers struggle with this process or would rather not spend the time to find out how it works. Others want to make sure they are classified correctly to ensure that they are invited to the right tenders. MarketSqr now offers to register your business on the database for a fixed fee of R800.
If you want MarketSqr to complete your registration and obtain your supplier number without any pain then submit the simple registration request below now.
